  •  There will be TWO intakes in each calendar year - January And July
  • The minimum duration of the course will be THREE years and the maximum duration will be SIX years
  • The candidate should have completed 12th Standard / PUC or equivalent (/12 years of education for foreign students)
  • The candidate should have secured a minimum of 40% of marks in 12th Standard or equivalent
  • The candidate should have completed Yoga Instructor’s Course from S-VYASA or VYASA

7. Copy of Passport and Visa (for non-Indians/ NRIs only)

Note: (Photocopies of the above particulars should be attested by Notary / Gazzetted Officers. However, self-attested certificates can also be produced and students need to bring originals during their 1st PCP for verification.)

How to Apply

Option 1: By Post: Please send us the hard copy of your application form duly filled along with the testimonials through the post.
Option-2: Submit in Person: You can come down to our City office (Ekanath Bhavan) or to our University Campus (Prashanti Kutiram) and submit in person. (Students from Bangalore or any nearby area can opt for this).

Please note you have to produce a set of hard copies during your 1st PCP. (This option is preferably for foreign nationals).

Refund and Cancellation

Fee paid is non-refundable and non-transferable. You may please pay after getting confirmation mail from the course coordinator/ admission officer.

  • The name on your application form should be as you would want it printed on your degree certificate. If this is different (due to, say, a name change after marriage) from your name on your earlier certificates and documents that you are submitting to us, then you need to submit an affidavit for the same.
  • Note to foreign students – if your certificates are in a language other than English, please send a translation of the same in English.

Application Last date

January intake: Applications should be filled out and payment should be made by December 15 [extended date 25th December 2020]
July intake: Application should be filled out and payment should be made by June 15
Pleas post the application a few days in advance so that it reaches us well in time.
Applications reaching us after the said dates till the 1st of January/July will attract a late fee which has to be paid along with the course fee.
No application will be accepted after 1st of January/July. No spot admissions will be entertained on 7th and 8th. Any applications made after the 1st can only be considered for the next intake.

What happens next?

Your application will be either rejected or Shortlisted or Applied.
If you don not meet the eligibility criteria, a rejection email will be sent to you within a week of us receiving the application.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, but if your documentation is not complete, depending upon what document is missing, your application will be either rejected or conditionally accepted. In the latter case you will be requested to supply the missing documents within a week. Your registration can be confirmed only after those documents are submitted. If you fail to produce the documentation, application will be rejected.
If your application is complete the application process, with in a week you will receive an auto generated email after the verification process id completed. And you will be allowed to go through the subsequent steps of registration (Such as course fee payment).
However, if you fail to produce the originals/attested copy (attested by Notary/Gazetted Officers) upon your arrival. your application will be rejected, and course fee will be refunded after a 25% deduction.

Food and Accommodation:

Food and accommodation will be charged separately during your stay here.

  1. By default dormitory accommodation will be given. As per the current fees structure Rs. 2000/- /week for dormitory stay (which is subject to change from time to time).
  2. Single / Double / Triple occupancy can be allotted as per availability.

Other Notes:

    • Students have to pay the semester fees and collect the receipt and submit the receipt on the 1st day of their respective PCPs.
    • In case if a student is not able to complete the programme due to unavoidable reasons in the current batch, registration will be carried forward to the subsequent batches on payment of the Semester course Fees. The candidate will be allowed to attend two PCPs together with a special permission from the Deputy Director by providing valid proof and reasons for not attending the PCP.
    • If students are not able to finish the programme within the maximum time of 6 years, their registrations will be cancelled.
      In case you have changed your name and is not matching with the certificates, you are requested to submit copy of an affidavit.
    • We conduct the Personality Development Camp (PDC) during April (3 batches, each 10 days) and Distance Yoga Instructor Course (YIC) in every alternate month (7 days) at Prashanti Kutiram, Students can avail their field training with prior request to the Programme Coordinator.

Eligibility for Passing

 For a pass in a theory subject, a candidate shall secure minimum of 50% of the maximum marks prescribed for the theory subject in the University examination.
 For a pass in a practical/field training/viva-voce examination, a candidate shall secure a minimum of 50% of the maximum marks prescribed for the University examination in the relevant practical/field training/viva-voce.
 For a pass in Project Work, a candidate shall secure a minimum of 50% of the maximum marks prescribed.
 The candidates who do not satisfy the condition of OM 6.1 shall be deemed to have failed in that subject must be subsequently cleared by repeating (by fresh registration and attending the classes) the same course before being eligible for the award of the Degree.
 The candidates who pass a subject of a semester as per OM 6.1 is not allowed to appear for the same again, unless he/she opts for rejection of results as per the OM 6.4, 6.5 & 6.6.
 If a candidate so desires, there shall be provision for rejection of total performance of a semester (including 1A marks). But rejection is emitted only once during the entire course of study.
 The candidate who desires, to reject the performance as per OM 6.4 shall reject performance in all the subjects of the semester irrespective of whether the candidate has passed or failed in any subject.
 A candidate who desires to reject the total performance of the semester including internal assessment, has to take readmission for the relevant semester. Application for such readmission shall be sent to the Registrar (Academic), within 30 days from the date of the announcement of the results. Late submission of application shall not be accepted for any reasons. Readmission to I semester in such cases will not be considered as fresh admission i.e., the candidate will continue to have same University Seat Number, which was allotted earlier.
 Such candidates who opt for rejection are eligible for award of class but not eligible for awards.

Promotion and Eligibility for the Examinations

There shall not be any restriction for promotion from odd semester to even semester, provided the candidate has fulfilled the attendance requirement.
