DDE, S-VYASA as an organisation follows the principles given in the VEDAS to maintain a homeostasis based on the concepts of karma, artha and dharma that lead to moksha as given in the schema above.

The objectives of the institutional mission statement are attained through academic degree programmes, research and community service.
1. Administrators, faculty, staff, Board members and others in the DDE regularly review the institutional mission statement, institutional objectives, institutional policies and practices to ensure consistency and integrity in all of its representations about its vision, mission, objectives, programmes, and services. The Directorate, Advisory Council and Administration regularly review comments and suggestions from these constituencies and, when warranted, adjust them to ensure they reflect the contemporary mission and deliverables of the DDE.
2. The institutional mission statement is published on the DDE website, in DDE Catalogues and in other media as may be appropriate. Broadcasting a consistent institutional mission ensures that all of DDE's constituencies are familiar with the DDE's mission and objectives.
