SVYASA has extensive residential facilities for students undergoing courses. It has 3 hostels for men, a hostel for women besides cottages and guest rooms. It also has separate residential facilities for Therapy Participants.
The accommodation is in the form of single participant rooms, double participant rooms and dormitories with housing from 4 to 10 students each. The decision relating to accommodation allotment will be the sole prerogative of the management / sub registrar.
Foreign citizens will be allotted twin sharing rooms with attached bathrooms. For both types of rooms, the furnishing is sparse but includes sleeping cots, working desk as well as cupboard.
The Ashram rooms are sparsely equipped, with only the basic necessities being provided in tune with the spirit of the yoga learning process.
The Ashram routine includes three complete meals. The food is vegetarian and a Sattvik balanced South Indian diet in tune with the yogic principles of food and diet. The Ashram routine also includes a Malt break in late afternoon. No tea / coffee is provided in the Ashram. Outside food is not permitted in the Ashram. However, the Ashram has a tuck shop where students may purchase fruits or small eats.
SVYP, the publication wing of SVYASA has an extension counter within the Ashram premises where students / participants may purchase assorted publications as well as their daily needs such as soap, toothbrush, mosquito repellant, bottled drinking water, yoga wear etc.
